Although drunk driving has decreased over the last few years, it’s still a serious concern that kills more than 10,000 people in the United States each year. And many people continue to drive while intoxicated, regardless of the consequences. A Canadian news release website, CNW Group, posted an article sharing the top five myths about drinking and driving that some people still believe:
- New Jersey Turnpike-Themed Beer Meets Opposition from MADD
Both the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and Mothers Against Drunk Driving are concerned by the recent actions of a New Jersey brewery. Flying Fish Brewing Co. is using the state’s congested and often-derided turnpike to promote its beer, and is releasing beers named after turnpike exits one at a time.
